    Koi Shusui

    - Shusui koi was bred from the Asagi koi, which appeared relatively early (in the 1910s), before the appearance of the Kohaku and Showa varieties. The Shusui koi has a smooth skin like Doitsu, and the highlight of this fish is that it has two rows of scales of the same color symmetrically located through the dorsal fin.

    - The main colors on the body of the fish are black, white, and red, but some Shusui koi in particular are also turquoise. The color cavities are beautifully symmetrically arranged. The colors are clear, the scales are blue-black, the red body is red, and the white is snow-white. The boundaries between the color flats are clear, not blurred.
