Signs of early recognition of Koi fish disease

In the process of raising Koi fish, it is necessary to observe and note some outstanding characteristics as follows:

1.      

    • There is a lot of foam on the face.
    • There is a layer of scum on the face, the water smells fishy and smells worse than usual.
    • The fish stopped eating, reddened, red streaks on the skin and body, fins, scales.
    • The fish are closed fins, concentrated at the bottom near the outflow area and near the bubble, near the waterfall.
    • Fish jump to the surface.
    • The fish shaved themselves to the bottom.

Disease manifestations and signs:

         1. Fungal and bacterial diseases:

·        Fish stop eating, lie at the bottom, concentrate in streams, waterfalls, bubbly, water with a fishy smell

      • Fish rackets are put on the tank to check the gills: the fish has gills and white spots appear on the fish gill comb and a characteristic odor.

         2. Sleep sickness:

      • Fish close their pectoral fins, concentrated at the bottom near the channel, bubbling and falling.
      • Put the fish racket on the tank to check that it is not easy to mistake it for gill fungi and gill bacteria to use the right treatment.

3. Redness of the body:

 

      • Slippery fish: more scum and foam appear than usual on the water, which can be observed with the naked eye.
      • Fish have blood streaks on their bodies: the clearest, most easily observed, is on tancho and shiro.

4. Skin flukes and tapeworms:

§  Fish that eat poorly, stop eating: scrape themselves to the bottom, jump to the surface of the water.

§  Catch the fish: take the water from the skin and wear it to check under a microscope.

5. Fish lice disease: Symptoms such as skin flukes and gill flukes: catching and observing with the naked eye will see lice attached to the body of the fish.

 6. Ulcers, body rot, fin wear:

      • The fins appear rays, blood veins and then gradually corrode, red spots appear on the body, flake and rot the body gradually into the flesh.
      • It can also be seen with the naked eye.
